TMS Boys Track loses to Bellevue

Tiffin - The Tiffin Middle School boys track team hosted Bellevue on Monday, falling to the visitors 87-37. While Bellevue’s depth secured the team victory, the Tornadoes protected their home turf with several impressive individual wins and strong showings across both the running and field events.

Adrian Beers and Garrett Plikerd led the charge on the track with first-place finishes. Beers claimed the top spot in the 200m with a time of 24.90, while Plikerd took gold in the 1600m, crossing the line in 5:16.83. The Tornadoes also found success in the relay portion of the meet, as the 4x100 team of Connor Chwalik, Bentley Wilson, Liam Bohanon, and Dylan Snyder sprinted to a first-place finish with a time of 54.04.

In the field, Jentson Halcomb delivered a standout performance in the long jump, securing first place with a leap of 18-2.50. Tiffin also controlled the pole vault, where Connor Fritts took first place by clearing 6-0, followed closely by teammate Robert Miller in second.

Other notable contributors included Jaxon Weickert, who earned a second-place finish in the shot put, and Colton Quinlan, who took second in the discus. On the track, Kegan Meyer added a third-place finish in the 100m, while Patrick Beers followed his brother in the 200m to take third. Austin Moore also added to the team tally with a third-place finish in the high jump.
