Tiffin - The Tiffin Middle School girls track team put up a strong fight on Monday, ultimately falling to Bellevue 73-54 in a dual meet. While Bellevue secured the team victory, the Tornadoes showcased plenty of talent across the board, capturing several individual titles and performing well in the field events.

The Tornadoes were particularly effective in the distance events and the throwing circles. Ella Woodruff secured a victory in the 1600m with a time of 5:53.51, while Brynn Moyer took the top spot in the 800m, crossing the finish line in 2:38.44. In the field, Kami Beaston won the shot put with a toss of 40-1.50, and Zoey Allen claimed first in the discus with a mark of 78-03.

Tiffin’s jumpers also found success, taking the top spots in two events. Jennifer Lacer cleared 4-6 to win the high jump, leading a TMS sweep of the top three positions with Leighton Tanner and Madden Seitz following in second and third. Meanwhile, Kennedy Lawrence took first in the pole vault by clearing 6-0, followed by teammate Dixie Allen in second.

The Tornadoes’ relay teams provided consistent scoring throughout the meet, earning second-place finishes in the 4x100, 4x200, and 4x800 events. Notable individual podium finishes included Kaydence Stuckey (2nd) and Madden Seitz (3rd) in a close 100m dash, and Faith Melick taking second in the 200m hurdles. Tanner added to the team score with a second-place finish in the long jump, while Emerson Hoyda followed in third.
