Bucyrus - The TMS girls track and field team dominated the field at the Wynford Invitational, capturing first place with a commanding 123 points. The performance put them well ahead of runner-up Ontario, who finished with 88.5 points, and third-place Upper Sandusky with 84. TMS showcased incredible depth across sprints, distance, and field events to secure the team title.

The hurdles and relay events were particularly fruitful for the squad. Emma Donaldson secured a first-place finish in the 100m hurdles with a time of 18.91 and added a fourth-place finish in the 200m hurdles. The relay teams also posted impressive numbers, highlighted by a victory in the 4x800 relay. The quartet of Brynn Moyer, Grace Welly, Ella Woodruff, and Cora Quinlan took the top spot with a time of 10:56.71. The 4x200 and 4x400 teams both earned second-place finishes, while the 4x100 team placed third.

In the distance events, Ella Woodruff and Brynn Moyer both earned silver medals, placing second in the 1600m and 800m respectively. Grace Welly added a fourth-place finish in the 800m, and Layla Green took fifth in the 400m. On the shorter side of the track, Olivia Webb contributed points in both the 100m and 200m with two sixth-place finishes, followed closely by Jennifer Lacer in the 200m.

TMS was equally formidable in the field. Kami Beaston led the charge with a first-place throw in the shot put (40-2.5) and a second-place finish in the discus (87-2). Leighton Tanner soared to first place in the long jump with a mark of 14-0, while Jennifer Lacer cleared 4-8 in the high jump to take second. Additional points were secured by Zoey Allen in the shot put, Kennedy Lawrence in the pole vault, and Emerson Hoyda in the long jump, cementing a total team effort that left the competition in the dust.
