The game swung wide open in the top of the second inning, where the Tornadoes capitalized on defensive miscues to jump-start their scoring. A series of errors allowed five runs to cross the plate before Conner Reese added a sixth with a productive groundout, handing Columbian a lead they would never relinquish.
