Sandusky - The Columbian boys tennis team continued its strong start to the season with a decisive 5-0 win over Perkins, improving to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the SBC Lake Division.
Columbian swept all three singles matches in convincing fashion. At first singles, Dravyn Dicken defeated Preston Miller 6-0, 6-1. Brock Siesel followed with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Aaron Benkirane at second singles, while Grant Blonde secured a 6-4, 6-1 victory against Jaden Lyons in the third singles match.
The Tornadoes carried that momentum into doubles play. In first doubles, the team of Liam Randell and Parker Nye earned a 6-1, 6-1 win over Hayden Wright and Nathan Reynolds. At second doubles, Jarrett Jaeck and Carson Hayes completed the sweep with a 6-1, 6-0 victory against Anders VanNess and Logan Cooley.
Columbian will look to keep its unbeaten streak alive as it travels to Port Clinton for its next match.
