This Week's Alumni Update:

Southern Mississippi Women’s Track competed in the Sun Belt Indoor Championships. Corinne Croy ‘24 ran the 5k in 17:23, good for 10th place overall. This was the 9th fastest 5k time in Southern Miss. history.
Indiana Tech Men’s Basketball (22-7) competed in the WHAC Tournament winning their First Round game over Cornerstone (97-85) and losing their Semifinal game to Rochester Christian (75-73). Logan Beaston ‘23 totaled 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the Warriors. He was also named 2nd Team All WHAC.
Tiffin University Men’s Wrestling competed in the NCAA Regional Tournament at Findlay and finished 3rd. Brett Minnick ‘22 finished 5th at 141 lbs going 4-2 overall. Wins came against Salem (6-5), Bluefield State (Fall 1:40), David and Elkins (8-3) and Grand Valley St (4-0) while dropping matches to Lake Erie (7-3) and Findlay (20-2)
Heidelberg Men’s Wrestling competed in the NCAA Regional Tournament at Ohio Northern University. At 197 lbs, Manny Aller ‘24 went 2-2 for Heidelberg. His wins came against St. Vincent College (Fall 4:05) and Randolph (Fall 1:53) while dropping matches to Baldwin Wallace (Fall 2:12) and Greensboro (13-5)
Baldwin Wallace Men’s Tennis defeated Franciscan 7-0. Jacob Weingart ‘22 teamed with his doubles partner at 3rd Doubles to win 6-0.
Findlay Men’s and Tiffin University Women’s Track teams competed in the GMAC Indoor Championships at Ashland University. For TU, Makiah Gurney ‘25 finished 23rd in the 800 with a time of 2:29.79. Abbie Felske ‘25 finished 15th in the Mile with a time of 5:21.52 and also ran on the 6th place finishing Distance Medley team. For Findlay, Jack Newlove ‘25 ran on the 5th place finishing 4x400 Relay Team and 4th place finishing Distance Medley Team.
Mount Union, Baldwin Wallace and Otterbein Women’s Track teams competed in the OAC Indoor Championships at Heidelberg. For Otterbein, Grace Blonde ‘25 finished 12th in the 5000 with a time of 19:13.75. For Mount Union, Mackenzie Davis ‘23 competed in the Long Jump. For Baldwin Wallace, Lexi Smith ‘23 finished 16th in the Weight Throw with a distance of 13.98m.
University of Findlay Baseball (5-6) won 1 of their first 3 games of a 4 game series vs Wayne St (2-9, 6-2, and 4-6). Carson Mellott ‘22 earned a No Decision in Game 3 throwing 4 innings giving up 3 earned runs and striking out 2.
Heidelberg Baseball (5-1) defeated Hiram 10-4, Albion 11-8 and Penn St. Behrend 3-2. Brayden Tucker ‘22 totaled 2 hits, 1 RBI and scored 1 run for Heidelberg in 2 starts.
