Tiffin Columbian High School Athletic Department Announces Aaron Simmons as New Head Volleyball Coach

TIFFIN, Ohio - The Tiffin Columbian High School Athletic Department is excited to announce the hiring of Aaron Simmons as the new Head Volleyball Coach of the Tornadoes volleyball program.
Simmons comes to Columbian after serving the past two seasons as Head Coach at Fostoria High School, where he helped build a competitive culture and strengthened player development throughout the program. Prior to his time in Fostoria, Simmons developed an extensive volleyball résumé in San Diego, gaining experience at the club, high school, and collegiate levels as both a player and coach.
During his time in San Diego, Simmons was deeply involved in high-level club and high school volleyball, working with athletes across multiple age groups while emphasizing skill development, leadership, and a commitment to team-first values. His experience at the scholastic and collegiate levels further strengthened his knowledge of the game and his ability to prepare student-athletes for success beyond high school competition.
“We are excited to welcome Aaron to the Tornado family,” said Columbian Athletic Director Bill Beaston. “His passion for the sport, experience at multiple levels, and commitment to developing young people both on and off the court make him an outstanding fit for our volleyball program.”
