Girls Bowling Advances to Districts

The Tiffin Columbian Girls Bowling Team has advanced to the District Championships at Port Clinton High School after earning a third-place finish at the Sectional Tournament held in Fremont.

The Tornadoes posted an impressive total score of 2,746 pins to secure their spot in the next round of postseason competition.

Tiffin Columbian opened the tournament with strong traditional games of 639, 658, and 638. In Baker competition, the team rolled games of 100, 153, 164, 143, 108, and 142, showcasing consistency and depth throughout the lineup.

Individually, Mirah Distel led the way with a 441 series, followed by Angela Nominee with 409 and Lucy Weidner with 388. The team also added a combined total of 697 pins to round out the scoring effort.

Congratulations to the Girls Bowling team on this outstanding accomplishment, and best of luck as they compete at the District Championships in Port Clinton!
