Ryan Ottney
Coach Ryan Ottney enters his first season as the Head Football Coach at Columbian High School after serving the program for the past 10 years as Offensive Coordinator. Throughout his time with the Tornadoes, Coach Ottney has played a vital role in developing the program’s offensive identity while building strong relationships with student-athletes, coaches, and the Columbian community. Coach Ottney is passionate about developing young men into the best versions of themselves, both on and off the field. His leadership philosophy is centered around the core values of LDRS — Loyalty, Discipline, Respect, and Selflessness. These principles serve as the foundation of Columbian Football culture and guide the program's expectations every day. In addition to coaching, Coach Ottney is a teacher at Columbian High School, where he continues to positively impact students in the classroom and on the gridiron. Coach Ottney and his wife, Jessica, are proud parents of their two children, Emma and Jax. Together, they are excited for the future of Columbian Football and the continued growth of the program. As Coach Ottney begins this new chapter leading the Tornadoes, his vision remains clear: build a program founded on character, toughness, and pride while continuing to Honor the Golden Helmet!
