Melissa Hoffman
Melissa Hoffman began her coaching career in 2013 as the Head JV and Assistant Varsity Coach at Lake High School. During her time there, the program experienced significant success, finishing as district runner-up in 2013 and winning the Division II District Championship in 2014. In 2014, Hoffman joined Tiffin Columbian High School as an assistant coach when the girls’ soccer program was first approved. From the beginning, her goal was to help build the foundation of a strong, competitive, and empowering program. In 2019, she was named Head Coach of the Tiffin Columbian Girls Soccer Program, a role she continues to serve in with pride. Under Hoffman’s leadership, the program has grown steadily each season, with continued improvements in performance, culture, and player development. Several athletes from the program have gone on to compete at the collegiate level or pursue successful professional careers. Her coaching philosophy centers on developing strong female leaders both on and off the field. While winning is always rewarding, her greatest fulfillment comes from helping young women build confidence, resilience, and lifelong skills through the game of soccer. For Hoffman, soccer is more than just a game—it is an opportunity to empower young women and help them grow into confident leaders. That mission continues to drive her passion for coaching and commitment to the program.
