Tony Vasko
Coach Tony Vasko has served as Head Golf Coach since 2009, leading the program to continued success with boys’ league championships in 2009, 2018, 2022, 2023, and 2024 and district appearances in 2009, 2022, 2023, and 2024. He established the girls’ golf program in 2015, with the team reaching district qualification in 2021. In his 26th year as a high school English teacher — including 20 years at Tiffin Columbian and six at Wynford High School — his educational background supports a coaching philosophy focused on discipline, accountability, and student growth. In addition to golf, he has coached football, girls’ basketball, and baseball, earning Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association Northwest District Assistant Coach of the Year honors in 2012 and 2018. A 2000 Bluffton College graduate, he majored in English while lettering seven times in football and baseball, and later earned a Master’s degree in Classroom Technology from Bowling Green State University in 2007. Coach Vasko resides in Tiffin with his wife, Shena, a Tiffin Middle School English teacher, and they are the parents of two Tiffin Columbian graduates, Drew (Class of 2022) and Casey (Class of 2025).
